How is forest bathing beneficial?

Forest bathing or forest therapy is inspired by a Japanese practice called Shinrin-yoku. It's an experience that supports health and wellness through guided immersion in forests and other natural environments to promote the well-being of both people and the land. These walks in nature are unique and specialized to help participants deepen their connection with nature.

Forest bathing has been shown to reduce stress levels, leading to improved mental clarity and reduced anxiety. It also promotes relaxation and mindfulness, helping to lower blood pressure and heart rate, while contributing to heightened mood and increased creativity. This holistic approach to rejuvenation offers an array of both mental and physical advantages in our increasingly fast-paced lives.

During a forest bathing walk, you can expect to walk approx. 1-2km while engaging in a series of mindful invitations along the way designed to enhance your connection with nature and leave you feeling refreshed. These invitations often involve slowing down your pace and engaging your senses in ways you may not have considered before.
